Speir Hunter Ltd, a leading company specializing in pipeline integrity inspection surveys, predominantly in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Pipeline Integrity Inspection Surveyor. As a small but globally active company, we conduct mobilizations around the world, utilizing our cutting-edge Stress Concentration Tomography (SCT) technology.

Responsibilities:

Field Surveys: The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing to various locations worldwide to conduct pipeline integrity inspection surveys. This includes working on-site, adhering to safety protocols, and efficiently performing data collection tasks.

Data Analysis: The candidate will be expected to analyse and interpret data collected during the surveys, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis techniques and the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex datasets are essential for this role.

Communication and IT Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively communicating survey findings and collaborating with team members and clients. Additionally, proficiency in IT tools and software relevant to data analysis and reporting is required.

Travel Requirement: The nature of the position requires extensive travel to various locations, often on short notice. A keenness to travel and a flexible approach to work assignments are advantageous qualities for this role.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a related subject, such as engineering, geosciences, or a relevant technical field, is required.

Experience in data analysis is essential, preferably in the context of pipeline integrity inspections or a related field.

Proficiency in IT tools and software for data analysis and reporting is necessary.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

A proactive and self-motivated attitude, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Salary Range: The salary range for this junior position is between £27,000 and £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
