AK Teaching are currently working in partnership with multiple schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. One of our partner schools is currently looking for teaching assistants to work in their post 16 provision, helping pupils with varying additional needs.
The roles we can offer will involve working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
Applicants must be resilient and have a willingness to support the children and help them reach their potential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a level 2/3 or higher supporting teaching and learning qualification
- Hold a level 2/3 or higher childcare qualification
- Posses a fully enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience working with pupils who have SEN
