MAN MAID is different to most property maintenance companies in that all of our handy people travel by our ‘Tool Trikes’ (electric cargo tricycle), which enable us to navigate through the city’s traffic to get to/from jobs efficiently. Tool Trike training will be provided although general cycling proficiency is a pre-requisite.
We are looking for an experienced and creative Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces of buildings, walls, and other structures. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a wide range of materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting.
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and other finishes to surfaces.
- Clean up job sites after completion of work.
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working order.
- Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials.
- Be able to work from ladders and scaffolding.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
